Exactly what I was looking for!
This sight worked out perfectly on my S&W 625-8. I gave it 4 stars, because the sight did not have a black finish. A little black engine spray paint fixed that. I also replaced the fiber optic with a brighter red one. I purchased two different sights from Revolver Supply and one was brighter than the other. No big deal. Excellent sight.

Well made and sturdy, fiber optic front sight
This fiber optic front sight for the S&W 629 is sturdy and bright. Look at the original sight and file the bottom of the fiber optic sight to match the bottom contour of the original and it will drop right in. I recommend watching this done on YouTube first. It’s very easy to replace the front sight on the newer model S&W revolvers.

Exceptional Sight!
Just replaced my stock sight with this after finding out my stock sight had a tilt. Put it on a S&W 986, rides a bit high but the contrast helps significantly if my sight is blurry or fogged up. Glad I picked this up.

Perfect Fit S&W
