Product Description
These are Revolver Supply Premium moon clips. They are designed to work in the S&W 627 8 shot chambered in 38 Spacial/357 Magnum, aka S&W 327 and TRR8.
They are 0.022" thick, made from high carbon steel and are heat treated and a protective nickel plated finish is applied.
They have been tested with Remington, Federal and Starline brass. They are OK for Winchester Brass.
These are useful if you have the moon clip holders that have magnets to hold the loaded moon clips.
These clips are NOT made to fit Hornady Critical Defense & Speer Gold Dot ammo!

All Moon Clips are the same --- NOT
I am very impressed with my new moon clips from RS. Much better quality than what came with my revolver. Haven't stress tested them on a combat drill yet, but they were easy to load and accepted most of my assorted brass. Most were snug and didn't wobble. Other positive reviews were the reason I gave them a try. It was a good decision.

0.22 or 0.25 Moon Clip?
I have found 0.25 clips are easier to load with the use of a loading tool. The 0.22 clips can be easily loaded by hand. There is a bit of "wobble" but that actually enables the loaded clip to drop into the cylinder . Good for target, less for competition GM different brass will also have different results.

Stuff for your 627 and 327 that works!
Make sure you read the instructions on what ammo works and what doesn't, I found them to be correct. If you reload this gadget is a must.

Good product
I bought the 0.22 version and thus far happy with them. They hold Win brass just fine with a little bit of wobble but not excessive. I found the ones that don't allow wobble don't work as well because the ammo gets hung up when trying to load. With a little bit of play it allows the ammo to move and adjust so it slides into the cylinder with just a little wiggle. Would recommend and purchase again if need be. PS. I live in Canada and chose the envelope option which worked out perfectly.

exactly what I wanted
My first order from recover supply. Got to my house in a couple days and I'm very impressed! The clips are easy to load even by hand. Good retention but the samples of .025 hold the rounds more tightly and I will probably be buying those in the future. But overall these are awesome clips! Very satisfied!
