These Moon Clips are designed to work in the S&W 986 a 9 MM 7 shot revolver (You might also see this on the web as a S&W 989).
They are "0.035" thick and made from stainless steel.

986 Moon Clips
These moon clips are great. They are the correct size for the S&W 986 and work well with the Pocket Loader. They are a little sharp for fingers but likely can't helped due to manufacturing.

works the best
I have two other brands of moon clips for my 986 7 shot and these are by far the best. They hold the rounds tight with very little wobble and are very solid. Even an empty clip has a quality feel to it. I also have a moon loader from revolver supply that works better than others in my option. Very happy with their products.

Good Fit
These are nice quality moon clips and very rigid, fit my S&W 986 9mm revolver perfectly without hardly any cartridge wiggle. Because they fit the cases nice and snug, they require a loading tool, at least for the last round. I will probably be ordering more.

The most reliable moon clips so far
I a new to using moon clips and so far I have wasted money three different brands of moon clips for my 986 7 shot 9mm. Then I tried those from Revolver Supply. They were all perfectly flat and they stay that way. They were a bit stiffer to load but they all worked reliably. I am not going to buy any moon clips. Their customer service is tops as well. GM-We are THE ONLY manufacturer that checks moon clips for flatness!!

First Experience with Moon Clips
Got a new revolver and found I needed moon clips. was referred to Revolver Supply by a friend and bought my first pack of moon clips. Worked great with my S&W 986.
