This is the checker for the 6 shot 45 ACP revolver.
Used to check the industry standard full moon clips for the Model 1917 revolver from both Colt and S&W.
Also S&W revolver models 22, 25, 26, 625, 325 and the Governor.
This is used to check your moon clip without putting the ammunition into the chamber.
If the loaded moon clip fits in this checker, it will fit in your gun!

Absolutely brilliant! Again!
Cannot source these here in NZ, so the fantastically well finished alloy beast will turn heads at my next IPSC comp. GM- And ours are 100% tested for flatness. Not like the rest.

A must have for competition
Compact and well made. Will be part of my IPSC gear to be packed along to each match. I plan on having it in my pocket to check each loaded moon clip as I load it onto my belt. At a club match this year, had a couple of bent moon clips mess me up on a couple of stages. Probably cost me at least 15 seconds, as one stage as the gun and all mags/clips to be used were on a tray at the start of the stage. Not only did the bent moon clip mess up my reload time, I had to run back for an extra clip to finish out the stage. Seems like a cheap and easy way to make sure this won't happen again.
