Product Description
These are Revolver Supply Premium moon clips. They are designed to work in the S&W 929 8 Shot, chambered in 9 MM and 38 Super.
These are sold as EXTREME moon clips.
The normal moon clip thickness is 0.035" and these are 0.040" thick which makes the holding of the brass extremely tight.
The dimensional tolerance of the brass is large, so it is possible that all rounds might not work properly in your revolver.
But after you have sorted out all the offending rounds you will have the best fitting of a loaded moon clip possible.

.040” stainless moon clips 929
I was having light strikes with the .035” clips. My gun has a very light DA trigger. These clips moved the primer right next to the firing pin. Great ignition now. What a great product at a great price. Makes the rounds nice a stiff to for easy loading.

Good product
I ordered the 0.40 clip holder to get better consistent primer strikes. In combination with a longer firing pin I have in my 929 I have good results. You definitely want a moon clip loader save you thumbs

Great Product
These extreme Moon Clips work great with Federal brass. They keep the rounds tight for faster reloads. I load my moon clips and check each one with there moon clip checker. Great product at a good value.

I shoot the S&W 929. I use the moon clips from Revolver Supply simply because they work! They offer the right amount of tightness required for reloading my 929 when I am on the run during competition matches. I also use their moon clip checker. What a plus. It has helped me to identify rounds that would hinder a reload. Both of these products have helped me during competition matches. Thank you Revolver Supply!

EXtreme Moon clips are Sweet in the 929
I use Win. Brass primarily BUT any mix of brass works fine in the moon clips. These clips helped me make Master this Nov (2017) in USPSA.

Do it all at a better price
I made Master this Nov (17) in uspsa. These moon clips in the 929 helped. They hold tight and help with head space so with the lighter action on my gun there are no light strikes. GM- Congratulation Master Neil

What I needed to make my 929 reliable
I found my 929's reliability to fire numerous brands of ammo somewhat spotty until I tried the Extreme moon clips. I believe that the thicker (and therefore stiffer) moon clips allowed for more energy transfer to the primers resulting in reliable ignition! Thanks! GM-Also moved the cartridge closer to the firing pin.

I use Win Brass, they work great for that, hold tight and have good alignment with chambers
