Many users have asked for a smaller tool to insert rounds into moon clips.
Well we took our patented design used in the Ultimate Moon Clip Tool and applied the principals to this Pocket Moon Clip Tool.
This tool has an interchangeable arbor to hold the moon clip in position for loading.
A lever to provide mechanical advantage while inserting the round into the moon clip.
The key patented feature is that we have converted the circular motion in the lever into the linear motion of the pusher.
All the forces are applied in a straight line and used to insert the round into a moon clip.
Other tools of this type swing through an arc and apply forces not in line with inserting a round into a moon clip.
These other tools are more likely to damage (bend) the moon clips.
And it's noticeably more difficult to insert the round as the lever moves through it's arc.
This tool makes for a great addition to any range bag.

Nice addition to the range bag
I bought this handy tool to load clips on my S&W 625, and it's worked quite well. Really saves the thumbs, is compact, comfortable to use, and seems durable.

Works perfectly!!
Got this to load moonclips for my Taurus 692 9mm cylinder, works perfect, as a plus I'm able to use it either right or left handed, takes seconds to load a 7rd clip.

Goodb little tool
This is quite a well thought out, well made tool. Works quite well with Most ammo. Only Hornsby ammo is still hard to load. The only reason I’m giving this four stars instead of five is because it’s made of plastic. I’m not worried it will fall apart or anything, just that there is some “ give” to it that I think wouldn’t be there if it was metal. As stated works really well with most ammo. Very happy.

Works as advertised, just not for me.
I received it quickly and it looks good. The problem I am having is with the arbor. I ordered the one closest to my clips. Not knowing what the shoulder dia was. My clip I.D. is .535. The arbor is .398 with a .431 shoulder. As you can tell the clips fall over the shoulder. If I play with it and get the first round in OK it will work. However I don't think I should have to do that. My gun is a 5 shot Taurus 380 UL. I hope you can help me with this. Thanks, Jerry GM-We're working to get you a better arbor.
