Many users have asked for a smaller tool to insert rounds into moon clips.
Well we took our patented design used in the Ultimate Moon Clip Tool and applied the principals to this Pocket Moon Clip Tool.
This tool has an interchangeable arbor to hold the moon clip in position for loading.
A lever to provide mechanical advantage while inserting the round into the moon clip.
The key patented feature is that we have converted the circular motion in the lever into the linear motion of the pusher.
All the forces are applied in a straight line and used to insert the round into a moon clip.
Other tools of this type swing through an arc and apply forces not in line with inserting a round into a moon clip.
These other tools are more likely to damage (bend) the moon clips.
And it's noticeably more difficult to insert the round as the lever moves through it's arc.
This tool makes for a great addition to any range bag.

A well-constructed tool and easy to use!
The pocket moon clip tool works well and I think the in-line insertion of cartridges in the moon clip is preferable to the angled force used in other, similar tools. This should hopefully contribute to a longer life for the clip. I appreciated the additional attachment for rimless cartridges and the bonus container for storing moon clips!

The only way to load moon clips
This tool makes it very easy to load moon clips. No more sore fingers or broken finger nails. Wish I would have had this year earlier.

Works as advertised
This product works as advertised and even though I first ordered it for my 625 in 45 ACP, the included rimmed cartridge pusher was included with the tool. This really came in handy when I had ordered an arbor for loading my 627 moon clips, without having to order (and pay) another product. I am very impressed with Revolver Supply Company, and their dedication to their customers.

Once you get the hang of using the tool, you won't want to be without it. Simple to use Would not bother with moon clips without this tool. Good quality too.
