Many users have asked for a smaller tool to insert rounds into moon clips.
Well we took our patented design used in the Ultimate Moon Clip Tool and applied the principals to this Pocket Moon Clip Tool.
This tool has an interchangeable arbor to hold the moon clip in position for loading.
A lever to provide mechanical advantage while inserting the round into the moon clip.
The key patented feature is that we have converted the circular motion in the lever into the linear motion of the pusher.
All the forces are applied in a straight line and used to insert the round into a moon clip.
Other tools of this type swing through an arc and apply forces not in line with inserting a round into a moon clip.
These other tools are more likely to damage (bend) the moon clips.
And it's noticeably more difficult to insert the round as the lever moves through it's arc.
This tool makes for a great addition to any range bag.

Very inventive tool. I just wish it would have come with a S&W 929 9mm 8-shot arbour as that was the only calibre I had mentioned, rather than with a 986 arbour. GM-Correct arbor is on it's way. Sorry

Works as described
I am completely new to moonclips and had no idea how hard they are to load (and even worse to unload). This tool certainly makes loading them much easier. I'm currently using Federal Al case 9mm for my S&W929 and it works fine. The only improvement I can suggest is that it would help if there was a shim or washer over the arbour in order to lift the clip up a fraction so that the groove of first round is nicely in line with the moonclip, but after fiddling with the first round it then acts as a shim and the remaining rounds go in easily.

No more sore fingers with this Pocket Moon Clip Tool
Revolver Supply Pocket Moon Clip Tool is a great way to load moon clips. IT IS easy to use, fast and your fingers don't bleed in the process. I can load a couple of hundred rounds in 20 minutes.

Best I've used for 38sp.
My previous moon clip reloader never worked well with 38sp and was awkward to us. This loads every round perfectly and smoothly. GM- Yes. It's a great improvement on the 'lever' type tools.
